Yangon – Meditation centre– Yangon (4 days / 3 nights)

Day 01: Yangon arrival & sightseeing

Arrive at Yangon International Airport and welcome by Shwe Kainnayi Travels representative and our tour guide. Check in to hotel. Afternoon tour of Yangon includes Karaweik Hall a Royal barge on the Royal lake for photo stop. Chaukhtatgyi (Reclining Buddha) Pagoda a colossal reclining Buddha. Visit to the city centre with the gilded 2500 years Sule Pagoda. And visit colonial style buildings surrounding Mahabandula Park. Then drive to stroll through a narrow street of China Town including the short visit to Tao Temple. Then, shortly before sunset, the 107 meters high golden stupa of Shwedagon Pagoda will glitter in the soft light of the early evening. Overnight at hotel in Yangon.

Day 02: Yangon sightseeing & Meditation Centre

After breakfast at hotel, morning visit to Kaba Aye (World Peace ) pagoda, Mahapasana Cave. And then proceed to Chanmyae Yeiktha monastery one of the famous meditation centre for the study and practice of vipassana process while taught by the Buddha in India 2500 years ago. Chanmyae Yeiktha, Yangon, functions mainly as a meditation centre but is also a monastery with resident monks (meditation teachers) and nuns. It is for foreigners and Myanmar meditators alike. We will have the unique chance to interview Buddhist monks and preachers in the World Buddhist Institute, one of Yangon’s several world renowned centers of Buddhism. The experience is always different as you learn how and why these monks dedicate their lives to worship and introspection. You are bound to come away with a newfound appreciation for their lifestyle. Overnight at Meditation centre.

Day 03: Meditation Centre – Yangon sightseeing

After the study and practice of training at meditation centre, evening visit to Botataung Pagoda, Nanthida jetty and watch the traffic on the Yangon River, Here luxury cruise liners come to berth at this jetty quite often. Drive back to hotel, free at leisure and overnight.

Day 04: Yangon Departure

After breakfast at hotel, enjoy your day leisure before transfer to Airport for departure.
