Tour Conditions and Travel Information

Please allow SHWE KAINNAYI TRAVELS & TOURS to offer helpful ideas and suggestions to all travelers, planning a trip to Myanmar. If there is specific information you wish to know, please feel free to contact our company in Yangon. We will assist you in any way we could, for your convenience.

Reservation :
All reservation are to be made direct to SHWE KAINNAYI TRAVELS & TOURS CO.,LTD Myanmar office. All details are necessary. Name of passengers, passport number, nationality, arrival date, departure date, flight details and accommodation requested should be made as early as possible, especially for the months of November to April.

Payment Producer:

Deposit payment of 25% of the tour price must be made on acceptance of the quotation and confirmation. The remaining payment must be settled on arrival of clients.

Amendments:

Any additional charges for second amendment, a nominal fee for our communication and services will be added.

Tour Prices:

All tour prices are quoted net in US$ tour prices do not include airport departure tax, not listed in tour price includes and itinerary, optional tours, personal spending expenses and zonal allowance.

Cancellation:

Cancellation charges are calculated on the day written notice is received Cancellation charges are as fallows;

30~15days prior to arrival : 10% on Tour Price
14~3days prior to arrival : 20% on Tour Price
2~ 1 day prior to arrival : 30% on Tour Price
Arrival day : 50% on Tour Price
No Show : 100%

Complimentary:

Every 16th member of a group will be allowed ONE FREE. A maximum of THREE complimentary persons per group will be applied irrespective of the size of the group.

Refund:

After commencement of travel, NO REFUND in full or in part will be given for services included in the tour programs.

Child Discount :

A child under 12 years old is generally granted a reduction of 50% of the Tour Price, on condition that he/she must accompanied by at least two full paying adults and stays in the same room in an existing bed. Please check with SHWE KAINNAYI TRAVELS AND TOURS before proceeding any reservation.

Domestic flights , Accommodation & Meals :

Please note that SHWE KAINNAYI Travels & Tours Co.,Ltd reserves the right to substitute the hotel, restaurant and domestic flight of similar standard should the situation require it. Please also note that first class accommodation may not always be available in some Myanmar destinations. We will always arrange the best accommodation available.

Peak Season Supplement:

During the tourist high season in Myanmar from November until April all hotels will add a high – season supplement charge to the annual contract room rates. Full payments should be made before guests arrive, plus the cost of the compulsory Gala Dinners on Christmas and New Years’s Eve. These surcharges will be added to our contract rate to you when your booking is confirmed.

Responsibility:

SHWE KAINNAYI Travels & Tours Co., Ltd acts only as the agent for the clients, providing hotels, airlines, transport or other services, included in our price quoted.

Therefore we have no liabilities for any loss, injury, damage, accident which may be caused including those outside the touring programs. Additional expense due to delay, accident, natural disasters, political actions and unrest must be borne by the clients. Programs, prices and service conditions are based on those valid at the time of printing and are therefore subject to change without prior notice or during the tour. Participation in our tour implies the tourist’s agreement to the above conditions.

Tour Guide :

SHWE KAINNAYI TRAVELS & TOURS will normally assign an English Speaking Guide for their clients. We have two different types of tour guide in our country.
One is - Through out Guide , who will escort you for the entire touring from arrival to departure.
Station Guide, who will meet you at every destination and escort you to and around at destination you arrived.

(1) Accompanying English speaking Guides

For through out touring SHWE KAINNAYI TRAVELS & TOURS select a tour guide from Yangon and assign them to travel with you through out your entire journey in Myanmar, until you depart from Yangon. If you have any special interests please let us know so that we could fulfill your needs and wants. All our guides are well trained for ( a ) large groups especially those traveling without a tour leader (b) Elderly people who may need special attention (c) Disable people (d) Special interests groups for Specific Subjects, for example – Gems & Jewelry, art and history, fauna and flora, archeology etc. SHWE KAINNAYI TRAVELS & TOURS provides qualified guides speaking other foreign languages such as Chinese, Japanese, Korean, German, Italian, French, Spanish, Russian and Indian. Special guide fees will apply. Please enquire when booking.

(2) Local Station English Speaking Guides

At every destination you arrived, our station guide. (Only English speaking guides are available) will welcome you. By hiring a station guide, will reduces the tour cost, for the clients.

Transport & Vehicles

SHWE KAINNAYI TRAVELS & TOURS always use the best air-con coach and cars for our clients. But in some remote areas like Sittwe, Mrauk U and Kyaing Tong air conditioned vehicles may not always be available and roads in some part of the country may vary through out Myanmar. Remote area travel needs a spirit of adventure.
